Thank you for your interest in contributing to MJB Letters. We publish thoughtful, craft-forward writing for makers of type, lettering artists, and creative founders. Please read the guidelines below before submitting.

We welcome high-quality pieces across creative and related business topics. Examples include:

Our Backlink Services

Choose one of two straightforward services:

  1. Guest Article Publication — You provide a full draft (minimum 1,000 words). We perform a light editorial pass and publish permanently with one do-follow link.
  2. Backlink Placement — We integrate your do-follow link contextually into an existing relevant article. You may review before publication; placement is permanent.

Content Guidelines

Please follow these rules when submitting to help us keep quality high and the process efficient.

  1. Minimum 1,000 words for guest articles.
  2. Provide at most two external links; one author/portfolio link allowed.
  3. All submitted links should be do-follow unless agreed otherwise.
  4. No sponsored tags unless declared and approved.
  5. No AI-only content — AI-assist is allowed when substantially human-edited.
  6. Submit original work; disclose prior publication.
  7. We reserve the right to perform light edits; major rewrites may incur additional fees.
  8. Prohibited: press releases, CBD/regulated substances, speculative finance (loan/forex), adult content, drug/alcohol promotion, gambling.

Submission & Editorial Flow

Our process is designed to be quick and clear.

  1. Pitch & Choose: Email a brief pitch to support@mjbletters.com stating whether you want Guest Article Publication or Backlink Placement.
  2. Submit Materials: For articles: full draft (min 1,000 words), images (optional), desired do-follow link. For placements: target URL, anchor text, and preferred topic/category.
  3. Initial Review (2–5 business days): We check relevance and quality and confirm scheduling.
  4. Light Editorial Pass: Grammar, H2/H3 formatting, minor tone adjustments, and insertion of approved do-follow link. Placements receive contextual integration with minimal copy changes.
  5. Approval: You preview the final draft and request one round of minor edits.
  6. Publication & Confirmation: Once approved, content is published permanently and we send the live URL.
  7. Invoice & Payment: Invoice is issued after final approval. Payments via PayPal preferred.
